Hello managers,
I am planning to do an update installation of 4.0g this coming weekend. We
currently have 4.0d and Oracle 7.3.2 and run SCT Corp's Banner product.
This is my first Tru64 upgrade so I'm a bit nervous (I used to sling hash
before I got this job, and don't want to go back to slinging hash if I hose
the system). I've been studying the release notes and I see where it says
there is a direct path from 4.0d to 4.0g (eg: no need to install an
intermediate release). This has me wondering is this upgrade going to be as
easy as it seems? Just pop in the 4.0g cd and run 'installupdate'?
Thanks for any help, moral support, or pointers to help and moral support
