Hi Gurus,

We have just upgraded two boxes from DU 3.2 to True64 Unix 5.0
from scratch. The first bad sensation (and hopefully the last one)
is that when opening even a small file with vi it takes several
seconds to do so. I presume the problem was originated by the
fact that no /tmp partition was reserved in any disk by the default
installation mode. Now /tmp is linked to cluster/members/{memb}/tmp
whatever this means (in fact it is located in the root partition) and
has less than 40 Mb of free space. If this is the case, is it safe
to boot in the single mode, remove the link and mount /tmp in some
free partition?

Thanks in advance,
