TCR 5.0a alias not visible from all machines

I have found that my cluster alias is not visible to all machines in my
network.

I have a couple of machines (4.0D server and a Mac) that are on the
same subnet as the cluster and cannot ping or
traceroute the cluster alias. The majority of machines can see the alias.

Any ideas?
