  Dear managers,

  a newbie question: we have an Alphaserver 4100 5/600 running Tru64 4.0D.
I would like to connect an external 36 Gb hard drive to it, but the only
thing I see in the box that looks SCSI is a cable that seems to go inside,
to the SSB drives (we have two of these, a 9Gb and an 18 Gb). So, the
question is, is there a way to connect an external-nonDigital- drive to
the server? Or is buying SSB drives from Digital-Compaq the only option?

  Thanks,
