Popper with enhanced shadow security with nis....

Hello...
  
  I recently downloaded qpopper3.0.2 and compiled it. It won't authenticate
users - we are using shadow enhanced security with nis. I did get ipop3d
running, but it's acting strange (merging /var/spool/mail boxes with
~user/mbox files), etc.

  Any help with this? Thanks in advance..will summarize.
