Power outage corruption on an AdvFs raid set

Hi all,
I searched the archives but there was no such problem, though I found
some variations of it.
Basically some blockhead powered off the BA356 that holds a raid array
under the control of SWXCR controller (KZsomething). In short the
/dev/re devices.
After re-powering the BA up and rebooting, one of the raid-5 set was
gone.

Here is the actual story:

# mount DataF2#dataf2 /dataf2

gives

DataF2#dataf2 on /dataf2: Device does not contain a valid ADVFS file
system

After a few attempts I found this:

# disklabel -r re1
Disk is unlabeled or, /dev/rre1a is not in block 0 of the disk

The other raid sets are correctly mounted and have the right disklabel.

Now what can I do to save all the data in the disk?
I have a feeling, after having read the answers in the archive and the
man page, that writing the *right* label on the disk I could recover the
fileset.
Is this right? I, in no way, can test this hypotesis. I have no spare
disks, now.
I don't want to lose the data. Yes, I know! Do a periodic backup. But I
couldn't, so don't flog me. ;-)

BTW.. you could have problems with my mailbox... I'm writing from a VMS
system...
If this is the case, please use the mailbox you see under my sig.

Thanx a lot.
