Hi,
I've set up mail configuration so that cron jobs executed on my AlphaServer
is routed to my exchange mail server. The problem I am experiencing is when
I specify the sendmail command to an alias name ( via the
"/var/adm/sendmail/aliases" file), although my mail.log reflects stat = ok,
I am not getting the mail on my exchange server. If however I specify the
fully qualified name, for example johnd_at_ppsl.co.tt in my cron job, the mail
is delivered to the exchange server. When I try to run "newaliases" command,
I am also getting the message
"Cannot alias non-local names" although all these users are set up on the
AlphaServer. Is there any other file that I need to populate in order for
the alias file to be functional?
Can anyone shed any light on this..
