SUMMARY: Cluster will NOT failover manually

Thanks to

John Seel (john.seel_at_us.faulding.com - funny that, he works for the same
company!!)
Alay Shah (shahal_at_allegiance.net)
Alan Davis (davis_at_tessco.com)

Further testing and suggestions from members of the list showed me the
obvious, that there are 4 processes running on the ase service mounted on
one host. 2 are sleep commands from the scripts and the other 2 are the
scripts themselves. This is because the scripts cd to the directory (ase
mounted directory) to scan the directory in between sleeps. It had nothing
to do with the asemgr command line string.

Also a better option (far simpler than using asemgr -d -v) is to check in
the /var/ase/tmp directory for the

<service>_IS_RUNNING file

This file is only on the host member of the cluster that the ase <service>
is mounted to.

Darn it I should a known, they send me on these #$^%^%$ courses and only
half the stuff sticks, mumble mumble.

Thanks again for all your help.

Thanks
Wayne Blom
