how to abort DEC3000 auto_boot ?

Hi Managers,

I know this isn't exactly a tru64 question, but I have an old DEC3000-M600
that I was upgrading to tru64 v5.0A by cloning from another running v5.0A
system. I forgot to set auto_action HALT and forgot that the ethernet
device is ln0, not tu0 in the rc.config file. Now the system continually
tries to boot and then gets in trouble as the network is not available and
my only recourse is power off and the mess starts again. These machines
apparently don't respond to cntrl-c, like the newer alphas do. Anyone
know how to interrupt the boot process -- without having to open up the
box and remove the hard drive ?

Thanks,
Dirk
