        Greetings all once more.

        Just had an interesting experience with a user who added a directory to
their setenv PATH statement in their .cshrc file. When they went to log in
the session just hung, when you closed it, they gained a defunct process on
the process list.

        We took the addition out and it works fine. On its own, it also works fine.

        This leads me to the question of is there a finite length that the PATH
variable can be under Tru64 v5 and if so, how big is it?
