The mount(8) command will provide a list of file systems
mounted on a particular system. If any fileset on a
domain is mounted, then it is probably unwise to have
a fileset of that domain mounted elsewhere. Each file-
set corresponds to a mounted file system that you'd
see with the mount command. I think this will give
you enough information to work something out.
Since your method of report generation relies on a 2nd
copy that suggests you have the space for a 2nd copy
of any particular domain or fileset. You might want
to see if the firmware version of the controller in the
SW800 supports the CLONE command (a "RUN" command). It
may be possible to clone the data this way.

You are running in an unsupported configuration if you are not running

cluster software. The problems you are seeing are WHY it's not supported.

Subject: mounted file systems

hello gurus.
we have a storage unit sw800 and it is used by two machines by daisy chains.
sometimes we mount all devices in one machine tto copy original data to the
another disk in order to
use them in crm or report database.( this procedure is done by scripts like
; first shutdown the second machine and
mount its filesystems in first machine and copy and unmount.)
the problem is that . if second machine is up because of some problems for
example network ;
all filedomains in second machine becomes corrupt because of multiple
mounting.
my question is : can I understand that a domain is mounted by another
machine in korn shell.

Thanks
