Basically the DE-500BA was the choice. According the Compaq website
however, the DE-600AA supercedes the DE-500BA. All that is required
is the set the console varibles for speed and duplex.
you need to set the console variable
ewa0_mode
to auto-negotiate
or fast (100Mbps half duplex)
or fastfd (100Mbps full duplex)
also:
I also add a "speed 200" to the
relevant IFCONFIG_N entry in /etc/rc.config to absolutely make
sure
