Hi,
Before I start configuring netrain on my ES40 with Tru64 Unix 4.0F as
described in the network administration guide (you, know: set interfaces
down, enter the stuff in rc.config and reboot) do I need to install extra
software?
Apparently there are processes involved with netrain called niff and
netraind, but there's nothing like that on the machine at this moment.
Below the proces to configure as descibed by Compaq in the Tr64 V5
clustering course:
ifconfig ee0 down
ifconfig ee1 down
rcmgr set NIFFD YES
rcmgr set NR_DEVICES 1
rcmgr set NRDEV_0 nr0
rcmgr set NRCONFIG_0 ee0,ee1
After the reboot /sbin/init.d/niffd should be started, but I can't find it
anywhere.
What am I missing here?
Greetings,
Dagmar Galama
