Want to add a 18gb drive to a RAID (JBOD) set

OK. sounds simple.

We want to add an 18gb drive to our RAID (jbod) set which already
has 2 (4.3gb) drives in now.

Now for questioning.

1. The system is OLD. a 2100 (3.2c) Firmware 5.2

2. The Raid controller is OLD (a one channel) KZESC or KZPSC running
RCU 3.1. (It's a Mylex Controller) I forget if it's PCI or EISA,
haven't
had the back open in a while. I believe it's PCI based on kernel config.

The documentation for the Raid Array setup only lists the
4.3gb as the largest supported drive.

The 18gb drives we want to add are DS-RZ1EA-VW (7200 rpm) SBB's.

Does anyone know if this drive will be recognized and able to be added
into the jbod group or will I need (and is their available) an updated RCU
that will all the RAID array to work with this drive. OR do I need a new
RAID controller? In our case, a second SCSI controller would be just
fine, since we don't need the RAID (or rather are not using it).

Thanks
George
