Hi !
Good morning/evening/night from Italy.
I have installed SYSCHECK 119 from
http://www.tru64unix.compaq.com/sys_check/sys_check.html
on my machines (AS4100, ES40) both running T64 5.0a 1st patch installed.
On the AS4100 I have no problem, while on the ES40 sys_check returns
many errors of the following kind and the output html file misses many
of the wanted info.
/usr/sbin/sys_check[86]: 0 != Exiting due to error during startup : syntax error
/usr/sbin/sys_check[12712]: 0 != Exiting due to error during startup : syntax error
/usr/sbin/sys_check[11139]: due: unknown test operator
/usr/sbin/sys_check[11189]: due: unknown test operator
/usr/sbin/sys_check[11194]: test: argument expected
/usr/sbin/sys_check[11200]: test: argument expected
/usr/sbin/sys_check[24652]: due: unknown test operator
/usr/sbin/sys_check[24656]: due: unknown test operator
/usr/sbin/sys_check[305]: due: unknown test operator
/usr/sbin/sys_check[321]: due: unknown test operator
/usr/sbin/sys_check[328]: due: unknown test operator
/usr/sbin/sys_check[331]: due: unknown test operator
/usr/sbin/sys_check[334]: due: unknown test operator
/usr/sbin/sys_check[338]: test: argument expected
I tried to use the new 119 sys_check both in /usr/opt/SYSCHECK119/sbin
and in /usr/sbin but the errors persist.
I think the only relevant differences among my AS4100 and ES40 are the
chip (EV5 and EV6) and the firmware level (5.8 and 5.7), so I wander
what is wrong in my ES40.
I will apreciate any help and I will, of course summarize.
Ciao from Italy,
Emanuele
