I am attempting to attach an external RAID array, an IFT-3101, to an
XP1000 running Tru64 V5.1. The array presents itself to the SCSI bus
as 1 target with 3 different luns. The problem is that Tru64 will not
see the RAID. I run scu scan edt, scu show edt, and hwmgr -view dev,
but the RAID never shows up. It does not work when attached to the
external SCSI controller (an IntraServer) or the builtin internal SCSI
controller.
On the console I can see the RAID with show dev, and running hwmgr
-flash lights -bus 3 -target 0 -lun 0/1/2 will all flash the correct
lights. A single disk attached to either SCSI bus is found without
trouble.
This problem occurs with both the custom kernel and genvmunix. The
RAID works without problem with another machine running Tru64 4.0D.
Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.
