Sorry for the delay, but I had to wait for some answers first.
Thanks are to John J. Francin, Micha Guerette, Richard C Bond,
Octave Orgeron, Thomas Leitner,Colin Walters and many others
for their suggestions.

There are indeed some DTP packages available for Tru64,
but they are better classed as documentation systems
rather than just DTP. Consequently, they probably cost
a lot. I list all the possibilities I got information about:

1. Papyrus Document System (www.isis-papyrus.com). This
is a heavyweight documentation system for large organizations.

2. Arbortext Adept/Epic (www.arbortext.com). This one is
also about the same class as the above.

3. TeX and various packages based on it, such as LyX. This is
freeware downloadable from the net. It isn't as flexible as a
"real" DTP package, but certainly works.

4. FrameMaker 5.1. Frame dropped support on Tru64 with version
5.1 (current is 5.5.2 or something). Frame is very nice, but
it can be difficult to get ahold of such an old version of it.
Frame 5.1 also has limitations on how large objects (documents) it
can handle the limit being somewhere arount 100 MB.

That is all about DTP. Then there are other alternatives, which
are better classed as text processing, but also include some DTP
properties.

4. Word Perfect up to 7.0. The latest ones are no longer supported
on Tru64.

5. StarOffice. When Sun releases the source code in the near future,
Staroffice should become available for Tru64 as well. Staroffice
is very large and very buggy at the moment, but open source may
correct that, too.

6. Abi-word. A freeware text processing software.

7. KOffice. Also a freeware office software, comes with KDE
window manager. In other words, KDE is required, which is quite
a job and influences all other graphics as well (changing the
entire windowing system from CDE).

8. Applixware (www.applix.com). Older versions of Applixware are still
available for Tru64. Applix is about equivalent to Staroffice.
