Modifying User Accounts

Hi,

We are running TruUnix 4.0F on an AlphaServer ES40. We had a situation where
while adding a user ( call him johnd), the default users directory (
usr/users/johnd) was incorrectly used. When I try to modify the user's
account and user's directory to /home/johnd, I'm getting the message " The
attempt to move the user's home directory failed. Check diskspace or file
protections" .

Should this be done manually instead i.e creating a directory "johnd" and
copying the necessary .files

Thanks in Advance
