Compressing / noncompressing tape drives in 4.0f

Hi All!

I'm in an unusual situation here. We had two 5.0 boxes which were the
first Tru64 I'd ever come across.

We just had to reinstall one of them with 4.0f to cope with a client who
only had 4.0

Now, I used to have /dev/ntape/tape0 and /dev/ntape/tape0c for access
without & with hardware compression.

Is the any equivalent to this under 4.0f?

What relevance to and DLT 3000 35/70GB drive does any of this have:
/dev/nrmt*h /dev/nrmt*m /dev/nrmt*l?

Cheers & thanks in advance for any help forthcoming,
