-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hi all,
I'm trying to install TRU64v5.0a (the latest versin available to
us) on a number of Alpha XP1000 workstations. Considering the new
OS compared to 4.0f almost everything goes well, except one
thing:
in the postload script I make a call to a csh script to load
additional packages like FORTRAN and O3D...
When run from a machine booted into 5.0a this script works as
expected.
When started from the postload routine the script itself works
fine, too, but from the setld call inside teh script I get the
following strange error message:
- ----------------------------------------------
(LOG from /mnt/usr/bin/tcsh -v -f:)
echo "Loading $list from $dir : "
Loading DFARTL388 from /mnt/PRODUCTS/product_2 :
foreach packet ( $list )
echo " loading from $dir : "
loading from /mnt/PRODUCTS/product_2 :
echo "yessing through /usr/sbin/setld -D /mnt -l $dir $packet"
yessing through /usr/sbin/setld -D /mnt -l /mnt/PRODUCTS/product_2 DFARTL388
/usr/bin/yes "" | /usr/sbin/setld -D /mnt -l $dir $packet
setld: The following specified subsets are not available on the
distribution media:
end
- -----------------------------------------------
Needless to say that no packages have been loaded at all.
Any ideas are welcome, since I'm labouring on this more than a
week now !
TIA
Tschüß,
Dieter
