Informix on Tru64 with SAN/Fibre-Channel storage ?

Is there anyone out there successfully using SAN (or FC point-to-point)
storage for an Informix DB on
Tru64 (4.x) ? Apparently Informix say their storage must be 'locally
attached SCSI', but I can't
see any technical reason why you can't use Fibre-Channel ?
