Many thanks to everyone who sent in their suggestions. The list is too long
to mention here.

The general suggestion was to use a non-rewind tape device. I am still to
create one and try this out .. but it looks like it will work.

Thanks

The question was:

I am having problems trying to archive multiple filesets to a DLT tape
drive. In my script I am trying to use an mt fsf n after each vdump. This
works fine when I am dumping to a DAT but with the DLT its overwriting the
previous vdump such that I only end up with the last archive.

Secondly if I use the -N option I get a memory fault hence I have resorted
to use mt rewind since I don't have any non-rewind tape devices.

Please can anyone help.

Thanks
osca
