Hello,
Many thanks to all who replied. Unfortunetly noone had a definitive answer,
but all agreed that it was a hardware issue (and many are seeing these errors
as well).
I used "scu" (SCSI CAM Utility) to look for defects on the disk we were seeing
the errors:
# scu -f /dev/rrz10c
scu> show defects
Displayin Primary & Grown Defect Lists in Physical Sector Format
( Defect list length is 328 bytes, containing 41 defects )
Cylinder 29, Head 3, Sector 49
Cylinder 31, Head 3, Sector 49
Cylinder 33, Head 3, Sector 49
Cylinder 55, Head 3, Sector 49
(etc...)
I am interpreting this as my disk slowly going bad.
Regards,
Bill Antoniadis
