All,
I am trying to set up a mirrored pair for my system disk on a KZPAC raid
controller. This is on a DS20E running V4.0F.
I have created the mirrored pair, and have restored my system drive from a
backup taken prior to setting up the RAID logical drive.
When I boot the system, everything is fine (it loads the boot strap, etc)
until the system tries to initialize XCR0 (the RAID controller).
I then get a series of errors and the system reboots.
I have tried to write down the errors but have only been able to get the
following before it scrolls off the top of the screen:
Initializing XCR0...
Active XCR_COM at time of error
XCR_LOGGER: XCR_ERROR Packet
XCR_LOGGER: Ctrl 0 Unit 0
re_getdrive
Then the errors repeat as far as I can tell until the system restarts.
I assume from the error that XCR0 is complaining that there as been activity
on the controller prior to the step in the boot process where it wants to be
initialized.
Is there a way to make this work?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
