random numbergeneration

 Hi,
 Does any one know how the random numbergeneration work on tru64unix, is it
fast, is it a good generater, does it use any hardware event (interuptions,
hard disk read, ....).

 i fact am planning to use I alpha server with tru64unix to signe DNS zone. i
have about 250 000 record to sign and i have as many random number to generate
as record to signe and i want this to be fastest possible.
