The problem was with NCD terms not liking v5.1 tru64
and having serious font problems. Got several responses,
all of which said the same thing -- they don't work very well.
That comment withstanding, I have gotten things to work semi
better by installing the xfs - font server on tru64. That
seems to have helped. However, I did have a weird problem
regarding that. If I installed "World_Language_Support"
AFTER installing tru64, all the xfs pieces were not installed
correctly! If I installed DURING the tru64 install, then
it all worked properly.
i.e. /sbin/init.d/xfs was not installed during the add-on, even
when selecting "all languages and modules". But if I did the
same during the tru64 install, it worked fine. Go figure.
I am going to try and reproduce that for Compaq.
