Hello,
We have a cluster of 4100.
This cluster uses Tru64 Unix 40F (Patch Kit 3).
Every member is also equipped with card DE500-AA Rev 2.0
(Half Duplex / 100Mb / Auto Negociation off) and is on a
network VLAN 100.
The servers and the users (among 300) discuss through a
Catalyst 5505 switch.
However we noticed that when the requests on the network
became important (Tuxedo's requests), the times of answers
were very important (>10s).
More analyses showed that on the switch a lot of RUNTS
(datagrams lower than 64 byte) appeared, and are rejected.
What do you think about ? Is it a problem of card? A
problem on switch? A problem of configuration of the
driver?
Thank you for your help.
Cyril
