hi,
I've been having trouble getting 4.0G installed on a pair of DS20Es. The
systems came with 5.1 FIS and ran happily, but the customer insisted on having
4.0G. When booting up from the cd on both machines the scenario is the same and
looks like this:
Alpha boot: available memory from 0x1e46000 to 0x3ff56000
Digital UNIX V4.0G (Rev. 1530); Sun May 14 06:24:24 EDT 2000

It always happens after discovering the second adaptec controller. AFAIK all
firmware revisions are correct (seeing as it runs 5.1 okay I guess that's the
case). Does anyone have any idea as how to get past this point?

cheers
