Real world TruCluster NFS file server

Hello Tru64 managers,

We are evaluating a TruCluster 5.1 large NFS server.

To make a long story short, I have been experiencing NFS server problems
(UDP, not TCP) and a search of the archives of this list seems to indicate
this is a problem with Tru64 systems in general.

And, due to the NFS hangs (and also a problem with ADVFS/CFS that shows up
with the Compaq "collect" daemon) the cluster member will frequently hang
when shutdown and/or rebooting a node (like to clear up the nfs serving
problem). We end up having to halt and restart both members. Not exactly
highly available.

I would like to hear, both good and bad, anyone's experience with running a
TruCluster NFS server.

Does a Tru64 machine make a good NFS server?

Thanks...
