Dear Managers,

i have a cluster with 3 machines (ES40).

When i start sysman -station & on o21.... i got a yellow window for network
and it tells me:

tu0: NIFF: node o23.xray.mpe.mpg.de has declared a connectivity
alert with network 130.183.72.0 via interface tu0

Compaq told me to set: set ewa0_mode fastfd and not auto because this tu0 =
de500 Card have some problems with auto_negotiation. According to this i set
the switch on the other side of the cable to 100 MBit, Full Duplex.

After these settings i got only one message in the window (before it was 3 or
more times).

Compaq told me to set the timer for niff higher:

Interface: tu0, description: status: UP, event: ALERT, state: GREEN
   t1: 40, dt: 5, t2: 60, time to dead: 10, current_interval: 40, next time: 40

I set t1 from 20 up to 40.

Did anyone know why state green, when i see in sysman -station yellow???

The tu0 - Interface is a combined: 2*SCSI, 1*network and there are two of them
in one machine.

I disabled LAT, too. Me was told to disable LAT if i don't need it.

I don't think that there are some network problems, but i'm not 100% sure.

netstat -i
