Hello,
I have a 20E with the new 667Mhz cpu's in it. I am trying to install 5.1
but coming up with some errors that look to be firmware related. Here is
results from a show config.

                        COMPAQ AlphaServer DS20E 666 MHz

SRM Console: V5.8-10
PALcode: OpenVMS PALcode V1.84-65, Tru64 UNIX PALcode V1.79-63

Processors
CPU 0 Alpha 21264A-9 666 MHz SROM Revision: V1.13.44
                Bcache size: 8 MB

CPU 1 Alpha 21264A-9 666 MHz SROM Revision: V1.13.44
                Bcache size: 8 MB

Core Logic
Cchip DECchip 21272-CA Rev 2.1
Dchip DECchip 21272-DA Rev 2.0
Pchip 0 DECchip 21272-EA Rev 2.2
Pchip 1 DECchip 21272-EA Rev 2.2

Notice that I have 5.8-10 which came with 5.1. When I go to the website to
try and download the latest firmware for a 20E I see that 5.8-10 is the
latest, but the system complains about it when I boot up..

** This system is currently running firmware revision: 5.8-10
See the "Installation Guide" for more information about
   updating firmware.

The following options are available:
<Press RETURN for more>:

Here is what I get when I try to install...

File system space checked OK.

104 subsets will be installed.

Loading subset 1 of 104 ...

Base System
   Copying from /ALPHA/BASE (disk)
        Working....Tue Dec 19 12:12:33 CST 2000
   Verifying
setld:
There were verification errors for "Base System" (OSFBASE510)

0 of 104 subsets installed successfully.

I tried a different distribution CD on another 20E I have sitting around,
and both 5.1 cd's I have check out fine on that one. The only difference is
the other 20 is a 500Mhz model.

Ideas?
