Qlogic / KZPBA-CA issues

Dear all,

I am just trying to add some more disks to my DS20 (55NJA-AA) machine, using
a KZPBA-CA and an external 2-disk unit. This all on Tru64 4.0F. Everything
is fine in the SRM - both cards and disks can be seen & recognized.
Ter,inatio has been checked and is OK.
When I attach the disks to some existing external units on the same machine,
they can be seen OK as well, but then the SCSI length is an issue.

However, when I cable the units up to the KZPBA and try MAKEDEV, it will not
see the correct devices. Thinking I had the wrong rz numbers, I tried them
all, but still no result. I tried different slots, but that did not seem to
make any difference.
Do I need extra drivers for the KZPBA-CA under 4.0F (manual & websites say
it should be supported). Anything else I can try to make the card known to
Unix? Has anyone else had the same experience?

Any help gratefully received!

Many thanks,

Bruno.
