Hallo all,
I have bought a DE600-AA networkcard for a Alpha2100a server running
Tru64 UNIX 4.0F. In the booklet comming with the card there is a point
with min. firmware requirement of the SRM Console V 5.5. But their is
no Firmwareupdate for the 2100a Server line to V 5.5. The latest is V 5.3
and this is installed. An other point is to install the New Hardware
Delivery CD (NHD). I have got the tar-file from Compaq and have created a
CD, have it installed, booted with genvmunix, added a pseudo-device ee in
the config-file and build a new kernel. When i boot the new kernel i get
the message :
vmunix: ee0: EPROM checksum failure
vmunix: - Failed to configure device in PCI bus 0, slot 9 with driver ee
Does anyone know whats the reason for my problem and the solution?
