DEGPA Gigabit: future support on DWLPA?

Hi-

The specs for the DEGPA gigabit ethernet card indicate that it is not supported on
DWLPA PCI I/O channels. Is it possible that this situation might change in the future?
If not, what is preventing DWLPA being a supported configuation for the DEGPA card?
