Hello Managers,

My issue:
This weekend my Linux Pc paged me and send me an email saying that one
of my alpha servers had gone down. I checked from home and it really
was down. Had to go to work and bring the alpha back up but the odd
thing is not that it went down but that there was no Crash logs or no
shutdown history it almost seemed as if the system went down without
logging anything..

Question:

Does any know how a can find out when, how and why the system went down.

FYI:
I've tried the "last" command, I looked for Crash Logs and also checked
the history files for all unix accounts on this alpha.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Thanks,

Jr.
