Super DLT and Tru 64

Hi all,
        I have a small query about Super DLT has anybody used it on
V4.0F or any version . Are they as good as DLTs ?
What about backward compatibility with DLT IV ?
Any pointers ...
There is no refernce about the SDLT on Compaq / Quantum pages.
