SUMMARY: anyone heard of maxdsiz attribute?

I would like to thank everyone who has responded (or will respond).

It looks like "maxdsiz" in the /usr/sys/conf/NODENAME file is the same as
the max_per_proc_data_size in the /etc/sysconfigtab file. If you want to
change the one in /usr/sys/conf/NODENAME, you will need to rebuild the
kernel and then reboot. If you change the one in /etc/sysconfigtab you
only need to reboot. The one in /etc/sysconfigtab will override the on in
the kernel.

As a side note, if you do a "sysconfig -Q proc" you will see the min and
max values for the parameters. Plus the "op=CQ" or "op=CRQ" will tell you
if you can make the change on a running system or need to reboot. "C" =
changeable, "R" = on a running system/no reboot, "Q" = quarable.

thanks again.
