on t64 V5.1 caad hangs on startup

Hi,

        I am trying to get a my true64 5.1 system to start. However, it seem to
hang while running the /sbin/rc3.d/S15clu_caa startup script during the
"/usr/sbin/caad -0" call. anyone have any ideas of what I should be
looking for/at?
