Hej Everybody

I am running Tru64 ver. 5.1 with C2 enabled and ACL disabled(Has been
enabeled before but never used) - the users are useing ksh shell.

I have this problem with the umask commando, when i want to change the
default umask 022 (/etc/profile) for a speciel users to f.ex. umask 755,
i edit the user .profile file and put a umask 775 into the file.

When the user is logging in and typeing the umask commando the commando
returning the right rights 755, but when i a users i createing a file
the file permissions is: --------w-

Can anybody telling me what I am doing wrong and how i schall change the
default rights for a speciel user.

Many thanks in advance
