TRU64 V4.0F corruption when replacing DS10 Motherboard

Hi,
    When I replaced a faulty DS10 motherboard, on a system running TRU64
V4.0F, and tried to boot, it gave numerous errors. The only solution seemed
to be to reload the TRU64. I have experienced this twice, hence the reason
for posting this query. Is there something that I am not setting correctly
in the environment variables, any ideas will be appreciated.
