Hi,

I am a Digital Unix system Admin & name is Simon.

I have the following problem on my three 4.0d servers, if you can
give me any clue it will be nice and appreciated.

My three Digital Unix 4.0d Severs with Ingress client running on
it.During day time around 90 users login to the system and running
mainly ingress client application.(Ingress server is on another
system.)

During the day time Intermittently the system go in a state that
nobody can access any tcp/ip application from the system. For e.g If
we do a telnet from the system to any system it gives the following
error

# telnet "anysystem"
Trying "ip address"..
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Address already in use.

This is the case even when we try a self telnet.
Only way to recover is reboot the system.( All the out-bound tcp/ip
services and ports are somehow busy during this time. But telnet from
any system to the affected system is possible.I mean incoming tcp/ip
ports are working )

Any clue?

Thanks and Regards
Simon
