Hello again,
I forgot to point out that doing this is completely UNSUPPORTED and you're
completely on your own when running such a configuration.
Given that, I think it's better to get a supported SCSI controller if you
can afford it. Also I was told that there are various variants of the
AHA-2940 around and apparently I was just lucky to have one which works.
