Hello,
        I am trying (unsuccessfully) to install Tru64 UNIX V5.1 onto an Alpha 2100
currently running NT 4.0. I started by upgrading the firmware to:
"AlphaServer 2100 Console V5.3-2, built on Oct 16 1998 at 11:32:56" using
arc. I then attempted to boot from the "Compaq Tru64 UNIX V5.1 Operating
System Volume 1" CD as follows:

P00>>>set boot_osflags ""
P00>>>set boot_reset on
P00>>>boot -fi /genvmunix dka600
(boot dka600.6.0.1.0 -file /genvmunix)
block 0 of dka600.6.0.1.0 is a valid boot block
reading 14 blocks from dka600.6.0.1.0
bootstrap code read in
base = 200000, image_start = 0, image_bytes = 1c00
initializing HWRPB at 2000
initializing page table at 7ff0000
initializing machine state
setting affinity to the primary CPU
jumping to bootstrap code

halted CPU 0

halt code = 2
kernel stack not valid halt
PC = 0
P00>>>

I can go back to arc and boot NT just fine, but no luck booting from the
unix CD. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
