concerning your expectations of the SUMMARY,
here it is:
If you have problem to boot via network, the following
things must be checked before ask somebody to help:
1. Firmware version according to running kernel on your system.
2. console setting - I mean, avaible network devices and their
configuration...
3. the RIS server configuration - having a well configured node with
a network
bootable kernel. To produce the last, you MUST run RIS facility!
(officially /usr/sbin/ris, which is a script - See documentation
attached your distribution media, or via Internet

If all is done, and still have no solution - ask the nearest Guru to
get help!
