Hi,
Please could someone help with a printing problem. I have a OKIPAGE 24DX
printer with a networking card. I can confirm that the printer can be seen
from our Unix server by doing a telnet to the admin port.
# telnet 10.4.21.5
Trying 10.4.21.5...
Connected to 10.4.21.5.
Escape character is '^]'.
EthernetBoard MLETB08 Ver 1.0.2 TELNET server.

My lpr config contains the following:-
# lprsetup
Tru64 UNIX Printer Setup Program
Command < add modify delete exit view quit help >: view
lp1|1|lp|sh0_techsrv3:\
        :lf=/usr/adm/lp1err:\
        :lp=:\
        :rm=10.4.21.5:\
        :rp=sh0_techsrv3:\
        :sd=/usr/spool/lpd1:
When I print a normal script file to the printer, it comes out like this.
# lpr /sbin/init.d/acct <<<< This is the command I use.
#!/sbin/sh
         #
           # *******************
The above printer works correctly from my PC and other VMS servers using
Pathworks. So I think it could be a setting for lpr, but which one?
Regards
Mark
