Question on TMOUT and sh on T64 5.1

Hi,

        We have a requirement to use the TMOUT variable for all our shells in all
our environments (Solaris, AIX, HP, Linux, T64 and VMS). I can get it to
work on all shells except sh on T64 V5.1. I've found different man pages
for sh on our box and one mentions TIMEOUT, but the other does not mention
anything. I've looked on the Compaq web site and found a man page for sh
that does include TMOUT.

        Any ideas of what I should be looking at.
