every now and then it nice to have an easy one...
just add -bg or -fg to the invoking command line. I knew that from my
linux stuff, now to figure out why I couldn't figure it out.

as problems goes this is trivial... but still:
I admin my stuff from my linux desktop via X sessions. Whenever I
start a Tru64 app and have the gui in a window on my desktop the
window background is a decided non-sexy blue color. Can I control
that (the color not my opinion of it)?
