Hiya,

We're experiencing a problem when adding a new user to our machine. Its an
alpha running 4.0E (all patches).

When using the 'adduser' program, this is the error message we're getting:

Adding new user...
useradd: Two entries with the same group name but different GID's were found
Error, exiting useradd /usr/sbin/adduser. Check /etc/passwd.

This is a recent thing. I added a user last week and it was fine. I checked
the user that I created and there isn't anything wrong that I could see. We
have Enhanced Security turned on. I checked the protected passwd database
(using edauth) and the entry for that user I created looks Ok - there aren't
any users using its uid number.

Thanks
M.
