Question on Top and W.. Performance Evaluation

To all,

When you are evaluating the top or w command, what exactly is reflecting in the
run que length. Is this value per processor or total. What may be considered a
bad value? Also when you review the r and u column in vmstat, should the run
que length be equivalent to u/number of processors? Thanks for your support.
