Thanks to all three respondent:
I got a couple of conflicting answers:
Dr Blinn said, "What you propose SHOULD just work. But no one has probably
tested it, and you MIGHT get into trouble. And it's possible the dupatch
tool is cluster aware, but I doubt that.
While rowan.baily_at_bt.com said, "If you try dupatch it insists on a rolling
install."
Special thanks to Rochelle Lauer, Yale Univ Physics
<LAUER_at_hepmail.physics.yale.edu> who pointed out a fundamental flaw in my
plan, (dupatch):
"The xntp patch is a manual patch (no dupatch). The only thing it does is
replace xntpd and because there is only one copy of xntpd you only need to
run it one one node.
You may have to stop/start xntpd on all nodes though (that's what I did)"
So that's what I did as well, and it worked! Thanks again Rochelle!
